“ We found this gem during our west-coast trip. The Gingerbread House exceeded our expectations. The jalapeño burger was exceptional. The fries were perfectly crisp. The onion rings were out of this world! Not greasy, perfectly crisp. These are the best onion rings I have ever tried! We topped it off with a gingerbread cake with ice cream! It was absolutely delicious! Also, the choc shake was another hit! Definitely a gem you din’t want to miss out on when in the area. We will definitely be back if we take another trip to Oregon! ”
“ Awe, we had a nice time at Gingerbread House. I had the bison burger and onion rings and she had a taco salad and a Reeces milkshake. It was all good and we enjoyed reminiscing about past times. There are some good historical pictures on the walls to help with the memories. We miss all the animals and monkeys but times have changed and we are glad there is nothing caged anymore. ”
“ My husband and I just stopped here for a late lunch. We’ve passed by here many times on the way over the mountains, but never stopped. I had a garden burger, which was “the original garden burger” you don’t see on menus very often anymore (but which taste the best in my opinion). My husband had a 1/3 pound cheeseburger. They were both so delicious! The buns taste like they are homemade and were fresh and soft, and the burgers cooked perfectly. Just like you’d hope classic diner food to be. The fries and chocolate shake were great too. The best part though, was the service. The staff was super friendly. Highly recommend!! ”
“ It was a joy meeting Carol and eating here. You can tell she truly cares about her customers. Our meals were all prepared with love! I had the veggie omelette and it was healthy and delicious. Gently steamed veggies, not greasy or overcooked. My daughter had the burrito and my husband ordered chicken fried steak. All were wonderful. They have a cute area for photos and you can decorate rocks and put them around. Just a wonderful time! ”
